Key Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Greet diners, present menus, explain daily specials, take accurate food and drink orders, and resolve complaints quickly.
- Floor Supervision: Oversee a section of tables and guide junior servers, busboys, and hosts to ensure seamless service.
- Team Training: Conduct pre-shift briefings, mentor new staff on menu items and service standards, and check personal grooming.
- Kitchen Coordination: Relay orders promptly, track timing, and check food presentation before it reaches the table.
- Billing and Closing: Present checks, process cash or card payments via POS systems, and complete station clean-up.
Requirements and Skills
- Experience: 5 to 10+ years in food and beverage service, with prior experience as a senior steward or waiter.
- Education: Diploma or degree in Hotel Management is often preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and familiarity with POS software.
Pay: ₹21,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
