1. POSITION DETAILS
Position Title: Assistant Professor in Psychology
Location: Geeta University, Naultha, Panipat, Haryana
Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent
2. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Ph.D in Psychology from a recognized university, with a consistently good academic record.
· Teaching experience of 2 or more years at UG/PG level in a recognized institution.
- Specialization in any one or more of the following areas:
◦ Clinical Psychology
◦ Counselling and Guidance
◦ Educational / School Psychology
◦ Organizational / Industrial Psychology
- Experience in handling psychological assessment tools, standardized tests, and counselling lab equipment.
2. SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong research aptitude with the ability to conceptualize and execute independent research projects.
- Ability to engage diverse student populations through inclusive and empathetic teaching practices.
- Proficiency in digital teaching tools, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and online assessment platforms.
- Skill in psychological assessment, psychometric testing, and basic counselling techniques.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary academic team.
- Commitment to professional ethics, academic integrity, and continuous professional development.
