Job Title: Chef de Partie (Continental)
Department: Kitchen Operations
Location: The Marque Club, Isprout Minaas towers, Gachibowli, Hyderabad
Reporting To: Sous Chef / Executive Chef
Job Purpose
The Chef de Partie (Continental) is responsible for the preparation, cooking, and presentation of high-quality continental dishes while maintaining consistency, food safety, and hygiene standards. The role involves managing a designated kitchen section and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesFood Production
- Prepare and cook continental dishes as per standard recipes.
- Ensure food quality, taste, presentation, and portion control standards are maintained.
- Organize mise en place and ensure readiness for service.
- Monitor food preparation and service within the assigned section.
Kitchen Operations
- Supervise Commis Chefs and kitchen assistants in the section.
- Coordinate with other kitchen sections to ensure timely food delivery.
- Minimize food wastage and maintain cost control measures.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of food items.
Hygiene & Safety
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Follow FSSAI, HACCP, and food safety guidelines.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
- Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times.
Inventory & Cost Control
- Monitor stock levels and raise requisitions as required.
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation (FIFO).
- Control wastage and ensure efficient utilization of ingredients.
Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts preferred.
- 4–8 years of experience in Continental Cuisine.
- Experience in luxury hotels, resorts, clubs, or fine dining restaurants preferred.
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of Continental cuisine and cooking techniques.
- Food presentation and plating skills.
- Team management and supervisory skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
