About the Role
The Head of Growth Marketing will help more of the right people find Sarvam, try it, understand its value, and keep using it. This role owns the journey from first visit to real product usage. It means knowing who is coming to Sarvam, what they are looking for, where they get stuck, and what makes them come back. The work is not just to drive traffic, but to make every step clearer, simpler, and more useful for builders and teams using the platform.This person will work closely with Product, Sales, Developer Relations, and Content to improve how Sarvam reaches people and how people experience the product. The goal is to make growth less dependent on big launch moments and more consistent every week.
What You’ll Do
Category narrative & positioning. Define how the market understands what we do, who it's for, and why it matters. Own positioning across developers, enterprises, and consumers.
PLG funnel ownership. Own the developer journey end-to-end: discovery signup first successful API call habitual usage paid conversion team expansion. Instrument it, experiment on it, compound it.
Developer adoption. Grow API usage and open-weight model adoption. Own developer evangelism, documentation SEO, Hugging Face presence, arXiv and Papers with Code visibility, and the technical content flywheel.
AI discoverability. Own how we show up in LLM training pipelines and AI-powered search
Paid & organic acquisition. Build top-of-funnel through content, community, events, and targeted paid where it makes sense. Quality of signup matters more than volume.
Lifecycle & activation. Design onboarding, in-product nudges, and lifecycle programs that move developers from signup first call habit revenue.
Product launches. Lead GTM for every model and product release from launch brief to post-launch usage impact.
Brand & thought leadership. Place our founders and research in the rooms that matter - AI summits, policy circles, global benchmarks, tier-1 media.
Team building. Hire and develop a 4–8 person team across performance, content, community, developer relations, and ops.
Marketing ops & AI-native workflows. Run a lean, leveraged team. Own martech stack, attribution, and growth analytics. Use AI to compress every cycle.
What We're Looking For
10+ years in growth marketing with 3+ years leading a team
Owned a PLG or self-serve developer/SMB funnel at material scale - and have the activation, retention, and conversion numbers to prove it improved under you
Built demand programs that drove measurable usage and revenue - not awareness vanity metrics
Marketed to developers or technical buyers with quantified outcomes
Fluent in modern AI tools for creative, content, targeting, and analytics
