The Service Advisor acts as the primary point of contact between customers and the service workshop. The role involves understanding customer concerns, preparing repair orders, coordinating with technicians, providing service updates, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and understand their vehicle service requirements.
- Conduct vehicle walk-around inspections and record customer complaints.
- Prepare accurate job cards and repair orders.
- Explain service recommendations, costs, and estimated delivery times to customers.
- Coordinate with workshop technicians for timely completion of repairs.
- Monitor vehicle repair progress and provide regular updates to customers.
- Ensure all warranty and service documentation is completed correctly.
- Promote value-added services, maintenance packages, and accessories.
- Deliver vehicles to customers after service completion and explain the work carried out.
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
- Maintain customer records and follow up on pending services.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / Degree in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or any related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in automotive service operations (preferred).
- Freshers with relevant technical qualifications may also apply.
Required Skills
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of automobile systems and vehicle maintenance.
- Ability to handle customer concerns effectively.
- Basic computer proficiency and DMS knowledge.
- Sales and upselling skills.
- Time management and multitasking abilities.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
