Founder Office – Growth AssociateRole Overview
As a Founder Office – Growth Associate, you will work directly with the Founder to help expand Upstrides' presence across colleges and universities. You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and converting prospective students into the Upstrides AI Master Class and other learning programs.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, takes ownership of their work, and wants hands-on experience in building an early-stage startup. You will represent Upstrides while working with students, campus leaders, professors, and placement cells.
As one of the first members of the growth team, you will play an important role in scaling our student community and strengthening our campus partnerships.
Reporting Structure
- Report directly to the Founder.
- The Founder will be your primary point of contact.
- Collaborate closely on growth strategies, outreach initiatives, community engagement, and college partnerships.
Key Responsibilities1. Student Outreach
- Identify and connect with students who are interested in Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies.
- Engage with students through phone calls, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, email, and other communication channels.
- Understand student requirements and guide them through the enrollment process.
- Convert prospective students into enrolled participants for the Upstrides AI Master Class and other cohort programs.
2. Cold Outreach
- Conduct personalized cold outreach through email, LinkedIn, Instagram, WhatsApp, and other relevant platforms.
- Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified student leads.
- Follow up with interested candidates and maintain regular communication until conversion.
3. Campus Partnerships
- Build relationships with college students, campus ambassadors, and student communities.
- Coordinate with professors, placement cells, and college authorities regarding workshops, seminars, events, and the Founder Office Internship Program.
- Assist in planning, promoting, and executing campus events.
4. Community Management
- Manage Upstrides WhatsApp communities and student groups.
- Respond to student queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Keep communities active through discussions, announcements, event updates, and engagement initiatives.
5. Growth & Operations
- Identify new opportunities to increase student registrations.
- Suggest improvements to outreach campaigns and conversion strategies.
- Maintain lead trackers, follow-up records, and outreach reports.
- Take ownership of assigned projects and execute them independently with minimal supervision.
6. Social Media & Marketing (Optional)
Candidates interested in marketing may also contribute by:
- Managing social media engagement.
- Creating outreach campaigns.
- Executing cold messaging campaigns.
- Supporting content distribution and community growth initiatives.
Candidate Requirements
We are looking for someone who has:
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence in speaking with students, professors, and professionals.
- The ability to build relationships and establish trust quickly.
- A proactive attitude with a strong sense of ownership.
- Good organizational and follow-up skills.
- Basic familiarity with LinkedIn, Gmail, Google Sheets, WhatsApp, and other productivity tools.
- An interest in Artificial Intelligence, startups, education, or community building.
Expectations
The selected candidate is expected to:
- Be available for a minimum of 6 hours per day.
- Take ownership of responsibilities without requiring constant supervision.
- Represent Upstrides professionally in every interaction.
- Meet weekly outreach, engagement, and conversion targets.
- Maintain regular communication with the Founder regarding progress and key updates.
- Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and a willingness to learn.
CompensationFixed Stipend
Performance Incentive
In addition to the monthly stipend, you will receive performance-based incentives for every successful student enrollment into the Upstrides AI Master Class or other eligible cohort programs.
Your overall earnings will directly reflect your performance and conversion results.
