## Job Description: Assistant General Manager (AGM) – Facility Management
### Position Overview
The Assistant General Manager – Facility Management is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation, maintenance, and comprehensive management of facilities across the organization. This senior leadership role ensures compliance with safety standards, strategic cost optimization, and the delivery of high-quality services to enhance workplace productivity and customer satisfaction.

### Key Roles & Responsibilities
* **Operational Leadership:** Lead and manage end-to-end facility operations, including housekeeping, security, engineering maintenance, and comprehensive vendor management.
* **Process Excellence:** Develop, refine, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all facility and estate services.
* **Compliance & Safety:** Ensure absolute compliance with statutory regulations, building bye-laws, health & safety norms, and environmental standards.
* **Financial Management:** Monitor budgets, track expenses, handle resource allocation, and drive significant cost optimization initiatives without compromising service quality.
* **Asset Maintenance:** Oversee comprehensive preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for critical infrastructure, HVAC, and real estate equipment.
* **Vendor Ecosystem:** Manage high-value contracts, strategic negotiations, and periodic performance audits of external vendors and service providers.
* **Sustainability:** Plan and implement energy-efficiency measures and green, sustainable workplace practices.
* **Crisis Management:** Act as the primary escalation point to ensure zero operational disruption in facility services.
* **Team Mentorship:** Lead, mentor, and upscale the facility team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
### Qualifications & Skills
* **Education:** Graduate/Postgraduate in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
* **Experience:** **Minimum 12 years** of robust experience in facility management, with a mandatory background in the **Real Estate industry**.
* **Leadership:** Proven track record of managing large, diverse teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
* **Technical & Functional Knowledge:** Deep understanding of statutory compliance, safety standards, budgeting, and contract administration.
* **Communication:** Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
