As part of our expanding Cargo Intelligence & Market Research division, we are looking for energetic professionals who enjoy field engagement, stakeholder interaction, and data-driven business development.
Role Overview
The Business Development Executive will play a key role in collecting and validating cargo movement data, engaging with logistics stakeholders, identifying market opportunities, and supporting the growth of our cargo intelligence platform.
This position is ideal for individuals who are comfortable with extensive fieldwork, relationship building, and transforming market information into actionable business insights.
Key Responsibilities
Cargo Intelligence & Data Collection
- Conduct regular field visits to transport hubs, warehouses, logistics parks, industrial clusters, freight terminals, and key trade corridors.
- Collect, verify, and maintain cargo movement and freight-related market data.
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and timely reporting through digital platforms.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain relationships with transporters, fleet operators, brokers, logistics service providers, warehouse operators, and industry stakeholders.
- Gather market intelligence through direct interactions and field surveys.
- Serve as a trusted representative of 7Hills Nexgram within the logistics ecosystem.
Business Development & Market Expansion
- Identify emerging business opportunities, cargo trends, trade patterns, and regional logistics developments across assigned territories.
- Expand the reach of Milne7 and the Cargo platform through field outreach, relationship building, and market engagement activities.
- Develop and maintain connections with transporters, fleet owners, brokers, warehouse operators, and other key participants within the logistics ecosystem.
- Facilitate the integration of new partners into the platform ecosystem and support initiatives that enhance regional logistics connectivity and cargo visibility.
- Generate actionable market insights and recommend strategies to strengthen platform adoption and business growth across North East India.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly activity reports.
- Maintain records of field visits, stakeholder meetings, survey findings, and market observations.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely submission and validation of collected data.
Eligibility
- Graduate in any discipline.
- 2–3 years of experience in Business Development, Market Research, Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain, or Field Operations.
- Prior exposure to the logistics, transportation, freight, or market research sectors will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable with field visits and stakeholder interactions.
- Basic knowledge of Google Sheets, MS Excel, and digital reporting tools. Ability to work independently and achieve assigned targets. Proficiency in English and Hindi (mandatory). Knowledge of at least one local North East Indian language (mandatory).

- Willingness to travel extensively across all North East Indian states for field operations, stakeholder engagement, and business development activities.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with transporters, fleet owners, brokers, and other logistics stakeholders.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
