Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Retail Designer to develop innovative retail environments that enhance customer experience and reflect brand identity. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing retail stores, shop-in-shops, kiosks, visual merchandising elements, and branded environments for fashion, beauty, luxury, lifestyle, or travel retail brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop retail store concepts, layouts, and design solutions aligned with brand guidelines.
- Create 2D drawings, 3D visualizations, mood boards, and presentation decks.
- Design retail stores, kiosks, shop-in-shops, pop-up stores, and visual merchandising elements.
- Prepare detailed architectural and interior drawings including floor plans, elevations, and sections.
- Coordinate with project managers, visual merchandisers, vendors, and contractors during execution.
- Conduct site surveys and ensure design implementation as per approved concepts.
- Develop fixture designs, display units, signage, and branding elements.
- Ensure compliance with mall, airport, landlord, and statutory requirements.
- Manage multiple retail design projects simultaneously and meet project timelines.
- Stay updated with retail design trends, materials, and customer experience innovations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Retail Design, or related field.
- 3–8 years of experience in Retail Design, Store Design, Brand Design, or Interior Design.
- Experience working with fashion, luxury, beauty, lifestyle, electronics, or travel retail brands.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Revit, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and MS Office.
- Strong understanding of retail fixtures, materials, branding, and customer journey mapping.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and project coordination skills.
Preferred Experience
Candidates who have worked on retail projects for brands such as luxury, fashion, beauty, lifestyle, electronics, airport retail, or premium retail environments will be preferred.
