Biomedical Trainee
Job Summary
The Biomedical Trainee will assist in the maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and calibration of medical equipment used in the hospital and medical college. The trainee will work under the supervision of senior biomedical professionals to ensure proper functioning and safety of medical devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in installation and maintenance of biomedical equipment.
- Support routine inspection and preventive maintenance activities.
- Help in troubleshooting minor technical issues in medical devices.
- Maintain service records and equipment documentation.
- Coordinate with departments regarding equipment complaints and servicing.
- Assist vendors and service engineers during maintenance visits.
- Ensure proper handling and safe usage of medical equipment.
- Support calibration and testing procedures.
- Monitor equipment performance and report abnormalities.
- Follow hospital safety and biomedical protocols.
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field.
- Basic knowledge of medical equipment and electronics.
- Familiarity with biomedical safety standards is an advantage.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn hospital biomedical operations.
