Procurement Process Supervisor (Grade 20E) (Shift timing 6 PM – 3 AM)
Job Description
UPS is seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Process Supervisor to support and drive key Global Procurement initiatives. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-level reporting solutions while providing technical leadership and hands-on development expertise. The ideal candidate will partner closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to deliver high-quality data, analytics, and reporting solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Strong SQL expertise to design, develop, optimize, and maintain database queries and support data-driven decision-making.
- The role involves working closely with Operations and IT teams on data analytics.
- Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, issues, and opportunities
- Support reporting and dashboard requirements by providing reliable datasets
- Perform database performance tuning and query optimization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner
- Document data logic, queries, and processes for internal reference
- Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards
- Knowledge and Skills
- Strong proficiency in SQL (mandatory)
- Experience in procurement fraud monitoring and reporting. (Preferred)
- Hands-on experience with databases such as SQL Server or MySQL
- Solid understanding of database concepts (indexes, joins, normalization, constraints)
- Ability to handle large datasets and improve query performance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Reporting & Analytics: Power BI, PRT
Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent)
