Senior Estimation Engineer – Electrical Switchboards / Panels
Location: Valsad, Gujarat
Salary: ₹6 – ₹9 LPA
Experience Required: Minimum 5 Years
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Senior Estimation Engineer with expertise in HT/LT Electrical Switchboards and Panels. The candidate should have hands-on experience in estimation, costing, technical evaluation, and preparation of commercial offers for MV/LV panel projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Study and review RFQs, tender documents, SLDs, GA drawings, and technical specifications
- Prepare accurate estimation, costing, and BOM for HT/LT electrical panels
- Selection of switchgear components as per project specifications and coordination charts
- Prepare techno-commercial offers for PCC, MCC, PDB, APFC, and other electrical panels
- Coordinate with vendors, procurement, and design teams for costing and technical clarifications
- Maintain awareness of latest IEC/IS standards, switchgear pricing trends, and market costing
- Ensure timely submission of quotations with proper technical compliance
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of HT/LT switchboards and electrical panel systems
Experience in costing and estimation of PCC, MCC, PDB, APFC, and MV/LV Panels
Good understanding of electrical drawings, SLDs, and specifications
Knowledge of major switchgear brands and component selection
Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office applications
Good communication, analytical, and team management skills
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Independently handled estimation and costing activities for multiple panel projects
- Experience in electrical switchboard/panel manufacturing industry preferred
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple inquiries efficiently
