Role Summary
The Inside Sales Executive / Sales Development Representative (SDR) – Global will own international top-of-funnel pipeline creation and qualification for GVPL’s Engineering Solutions and Industrial Visualization & Communication offerings. This role will build target account lists, execute structured outbound sequences, engage decision makers across global markets, qualify opportunities, and book high-quality meetings for the BD team. The SDR will ensure strong handovers, disciplined follow-ups, high CRM hygiene, and continuous conversion improvement—enabling predictable global revenue outcomes. This role requires strong written communication, confidence in engaging international stakeholders, and the ability to work with time-zone overlaps for meetings across North America, Europe, Middle East, and APAC as required. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Pune City (Viman Nagar).
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Build and maintain target account lists and decision-maker maps for global markets across priority industries (OEMs, Tier-1s, EPCs, industrial manufacturers, and training/corporate communication buyers).
2. Execute outbound prospecting through email, LinkedIn, calls, and structured follow-up sequences tailored to international personas and markets.
3. Qualify prospects using a structured approach (need, fit, urgency, stakeholders, budget range, timeline) and document clear handover notes for BD.
4. Book discovery meetings for BD Managers/Head BD and ensure meeting readiness (context, stakeholder details, pain points, relevant collateral, and agenda).
5. Manage inbound global leads (website, Upwork, referrals, partner channels) with strong response SLAs and conversion discipline.
6. Support opportunity progression through consistent follow-ups, proposal/quotation nudges, and coordination with BD/pre-sales teams to reduce drop-offs.
7. Maintain CRM discipline—accurate lead stages, activity logging, notes, tasks, and next steps—with weekly reporting and pipeline review cadence.
8. Track conversion metrics (response rate, meeting rate, show-up rate, meeting-to-opportunity conversion) and continuously improve scripts, messaging, and sequences.
9. Reactivate dormant leads and run re-engagement campaigns for priority global verticals and service lines.
10. Contribute to global sales enablement by documenting outreach playbooks, templates, objection-handling guides, and best practices; support onboarding/mentoring of junior SDRs as the team scales.
Qualifications and Skills
1. Bachelor’s degree in any relevant discipline BBA/MBA/engineering/ technical background is a plus.
2. 0-1 years of experience in B2B Inside Sales/ SDR/ Lead Generation focused on international markets (engineering/ industrial/ B2B services preferred).
3. Excellent written and spoken English with strong email/LinkedIn copywriting and professional communication standards.
4. Proven outbound capability- running multi-touch sequences, handling objections, and executing disciplined follow-ups.
5. Strong qualification skills and ability to map stakeholders, buying process, and next steps in global accounts.
6. Comfortable working with time-zone overlaps (US/ EU) and operating in a metrics-driven cadence.
