Role Summary
We are looking for a dedicated Battery Assembly Technician to join our team in Electra EV. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end assembly, wiring, and testing of high-voltage battery packs for electric vehicles. You will play a vital role in ensuring the quality, safety, and performance of our energy storage systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Precision Assembly: Perform module stacking, busbar connections, and enclosure assembly according to standardized work instructions.
- Electrical Integration: Install and wire Battery Management Systems (BMS), sensors, and cabling with high accuracy.
- Quality & Testing: Conduct electrical testing (e.g., Hi-Pot, voltage checks) and perform visual inspections to ensure all packs meet stringent quality standards.
- Tool Operation: Safely operate assembly tools, including torque wrenches, soldering stations, and diagnostic equipment.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) protocols and high-voltage safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate production logs and track serial numbers to ensure full product traceability.
Requirements
- Education: ITI or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation engineering.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams and operate basic testing tools (e.g., Multimeters).
- Attention to Detail: High level of precision and consistency in performing repetitive assembly tasks.
- Work Ethic: Reliability, strong focus on safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
