Education: B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc. Electronics & Electrical
- Minumum 5 years experience in seismic industry as an Observer
- Should have experience in operation and maintenance of latest generation recording (Sercel,Innova) instruments
Responsibilities / KRA's
- Operation of Recording Instrument to record 3D seismic data
- Trouble shooting the spread and replacement of faulty ground equipment
- Online QC of recorded data to ensure the integrity of seismic data being recorded
- To check the percentage of open channels to maintain QC standards
- Responsible for daily equipment tests and maintains records
- Plan the next day program of the recording department
- Damaged/ faulty equipment detected during the days operation
- Responsible for getting the maintenance of equipment done as per the schedule
