We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Lecturer in Physical Education to join our college as an Assistant Professor. The candidate will be responsible for delivering academic instruction, training students in physical fitness and sports, and contributing to the overall development of the institution’s sports culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Academic Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate (and postgraduate, if applicable) courses in Physical Education, Sports Science, Health Education, and Fitness.
- Develop and deliver lectures, practical sessions, and workshops in accordance with the prescribed curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessment tools.
- Evaluate student performance through internal assessments, practical exams, and theory examinations.
- Mentor and guide students in academic and career development within sports and fitness domains.
Sports & Training Responsibilities
- Train students in various indoor and outdoor sports disciplines.
- Identify and nurture talented athletes for intercollegiate, university, and national-level competitions.
- Plan and conduct regular fitness programs, drills, and conditioning sessions.
- Organize annual sports meets, tournaments, and athletic events.
- Coach college teams and accompany students to competitions.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain records of student attendance, performance, and sports participation.
- Manage sports facilities, grounds, and equipment efficiently.
- Ensure safety protocols and discipline during all physical activities.
- Coordinate with university bodies and sports authorities for events and affiliations.
- Assist in accreditation processes (NAAC/NBA) by contributing relevant documentation.
Eligibility Criteria
- Mandatory Qualification:
- Master of Physical Education (M.P.Ed)
- Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of teaching or coaching experience in a college, university, or recognized institution

- Strong subject knowledge in Physical Education and Sports Sciences
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage large student groups during practical sessions

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
