Key Responsibilities – Coffee Shop Assistant
- Customer Service
- Greet customers, patients, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
- Take orders accurately and assist customers in selecting menu items.
- Address customer queries and resolve minor complaints politely.
- Food and Beverage Preparation
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, juices, and other beverages as per standard recipes.
- Assist in preparing light snacks and bakery items as per hygiene standards.
- Ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Billing and Cash Handling
- Operate the POS/billing system accurately.
- Handle cash, digital payments, and issue bills/receipts to customers.
- Maintain proper records of daily sales transactions.
- Hygiene and Sanitation
- Maintain cleanliness of the coffee shop area, counters, and equipment.
- Follow hospital infection control and food safety guidelines.
- Ensure utensils, cups, and service areas are properly cleaned and sanitized.
- Stock and Inventory Support
- Monitor stock levels of coffee, milk, snacks, and other supplies.
- Inform the supervisor about low stock and assist in inventory checks.
- Ensure proper storage of food and beverage items.
- Equipment Handling
- Operate coffee machines, grinders, refrigerators, and other equipment safely.
- Report any equipment malfunction to the supervisor immediately.
- Coordination
- Coordinate with the F&B Executive / Supervisor for smooth daily operations.
- Support team members during busy hours.
- Compliance
- Follow hospital policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Adhere to grooming and uniform guidelines.
