Job Summary:
We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor + Instructor who can manage video editing tasks along with training and mentoring students in video editing skills. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in video production, editing software, and the ability to teach students through real-time projects.
Key Responsibilities:Video Editing Responsibilities:
- Edit high-quality videos for social media platforms, advertisements, reels, YouTube videos, and promotional content.
- Create engaging video content with proper storytelling, transitions, effects, and sound design.
- Work on video editing, color correction, motion graphics, and basic animations.
- Understand client requirements and deliver creative video solutions.
- Manage multiple editing projects while maintaining quality and deadlines.
- Stay updated with the latest video trends, editing styles, and social media formats.
Training & Instructor Responsibilities:
- Conduct practical video editing training sessions for students.
- Teach video editing concepts, tools, and techniques with hands-on projects.
- Train students on software such as:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects (Basic)
- CapCut / Other Editing Tools
- Photoshop/Canva (Basic for creatives)
- Prepare training materials, assignments, and project-based learning activities.
- Guide students in creating professional portfolios.
- Evaluate student performance and provide feedback.
- Share industry insights and best practices.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of video editing and post-production processes.
- Proficiency in video editing software.
- Good understanding of storytelling, visual composition, and social media content formats.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple manner.
- Strong mentoring and time management skills.
Eligibility:
- Bachelor's degree or relevant certification preferred.
- 1–3 years of professional experience in video editing.
- Previous teaching/training experience will be an added advantage.
- Experience working on social media videos, ads, and brand content is preferred.
Working Hours:
- 9 Hours per day
- 6 Days a week
