Job Summary
The Inventory Executive at The Knot is responsible for managing, tracking, and optimizing inventory levels across all channels to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer experience. This role requires strong attention to detail, coordination with multiple teams, and the ability to maintain accurate stock records while supporting business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records across warehouses and retail/online channels
- Track stock movement, including incoming shipments, returns, and transfers
- Coordinate with procurement and vendors to ensure timely replenishment of stock
- Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to minimize discrepancies
- Analyze inventory data to forecast demand and prevent overstocking or stockouts
- Maintain proper documentation for all inventory transactions
- Collaborate with logistics, sales, and merchandising teams for inventory planning
- Identify slow-moving or obsolete stock and recommend corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with company policies and inventory control procedures
- Use inventory management systems and ERP tools efficiently
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in inventory management or a similar role
- Proficiency in inventory management software / ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in retail, e-commerce, or wedding/lifestyle industry
- Knowledge of demand forecasting and inventory optimization techniques
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis)
