ABOUT THE ROLE
Devmani Traders Pvt. Ltd. is an Authorized Partner of Kotak Securities and an AMFI-registered Mutual Fund Distributor based in Mumbai. We provide a comprehensive range of financial services, including mutual funds, equity investments, insurance, and loan advisory solutions.
As a FinTech Data Analytics Intern, you will work closely with our Operations, Research & Wealth Management teams, gaining hands-on exposure to investment analytics, financial research, transaction execution, and AI-assisted reporting.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ONData Engineering & Python
- Fetch live data from AMFI, BSE, NSE, RBI, and AMC portals via Python scripts.
- Automate NAV pulls, return calculations, factsheet updates, and report generation.
- Clean and transform datasets using Pandas, NumPy, and Excel/Google Sheets.
Investment & Fund Analytics
- Maintain fund databases including returns, AUM, expense ratios, and Sharpe ratios across categories.
- Feed data into ranking models and consistency trackers; identify outliers and shifts.
- Track NFOs, fund manager changes, and AUM trends across segments.
AI-Assisted Research & Reporting
- Use LLMs (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) to draft research notes and client summaries.
- Build prompt workflows that reduce manual reporting turnaround time.
- Populate PPT/PDF templates with SIP charts, allocation visuals, and return comparisons.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOREducational Background
- B.Com, B.Tech, BMS, B.Fin, MBA Finance, CFA, or equivalent.
- Final-year students or recent graduates preferred.
Technical Skills – Must Have
- Python (Pandas, NumPy, data handling, and automation)
- Excel / Google Sheets (formulas, pivots, charts, and data cleaning)
- Data fetching through APIs and AMFI/NSE/BSE portals
- AI tools and LLMs for research and reporting
Finance Domain Knowledge
- Mutual funds: NAV, returns, AUM, expense ratio
- Equity markets, financial statements, and valuation ratios
- Familiarity with research platforms such as Screener.in, Moneycontrol, Value Research, Tickertape, and AMFI
