### Role Overview
We are looking for a result-oriented Business Development Manager to handle a dual-brand portfolio. You will manage high-value incoming leads for our e-commerce platform (SolarClue) and drive distribution and OEM operations for our manufacturing brand (Varistor Solar). While product and market training will be provided, we require a candidate with a solid foundation in sales and a professional educational background.
### Key ResponsibilitiesFor SolarClue (Lead Management & Operations)
- Lead Conversion: Handle high-quality leads from various sources (CRM, Web, Inbound) and convert them into sales.
- Quotations: Speak with clients to understand their needs and provide accurate quotes for solar water heaters and heat pumps.
- Vendor Operations: Manage relationships with existing vendors and proactively onboard new vendors in different cities to expand the service network.
- Site Visits: Conduct local site visits within Bangalore for high-ticket residential or commercial clients.
For Varistor Solar (Network Expansion & Procurement)
- Dealer & Distributor Network: Proactively identify and appoint new distributors and dealers to expand the brand's national footprint.
- OEM Coordination: Manage purchasing and communication with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).
- Project Supervision: Coordinate with the technical team to ensure smooth installation and commissioning for customers.
### Candidate Profile
- Education: MBA (Marketing/Sales) or Technical Degree (B.E./B.Tech/Diploma) preferred.
- Experience: 4–6 years of experience in sales. A background in solar, electrical, or building materials is an advantage.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal skills in English and Kannada are mandatory for client and site interactions in Bangalore.
- Mindset: A "closer" mentality with the ability to handle both office-based sales and field-based vendor/client meetings.
