A Reservation Executive manages bookings, communicates with guests, and coordinates with hotel or travel teams to ensure seamless stays. Key duties include processing room or travel reservations, updating booking systems, upselling packages, and resolving inquiries. This role requires strong multitasking, customer service, and software proficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Booking Management: Handle room or travel service reservations via phone, email, or online platforms, ensuring all details are accurately inputted into the property management system (PMS).
- Guest Assistance: Respond to guest inquiries regarding availability, rates, and amenities. Address concerns and process cancellations or modifications.
- Upselling: Promote upgraded rooms, special packages, or additional services to enhance the guest experience and maximize revenue.
- Cross-Departmental Coordination: Communicate guest preferences and special requests (e.g., housekeeping, front desk) to relevant departments to prepare for arrivals.
- Reporting: Prepare daily reservation reports and occupancy forecasts to assist in revenue management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree or diploma in Hospitality or Travel & Tourism is strongly preferred.
- Experience: Previous customer service or reservation experience is highly valued, often requiring 1–2 years in the hospitality or travel sector.
- Skills: Excellent communication, strong time-management, and high attention to detail. Proficiency with reservation software and MS Office Suite is essential.
- Flexibility: Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, to support 24/7 hospitality operations.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
