Job Summary
We are looking for a Quality Engineer with 1–3 years of experience in the Mold & Die manufacturing industry. The candidate will assist the Senior Quality Engineer in ensuring product quality, inspection, documentation, and compliance with customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Senior Quality Engineer in day-to-day quality activities.
- Perform in-process and final inspection of molds, dies, and precision machined components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Conduct dimensional inspection using Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, Dial Indicator, and other measuring instruments.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports and quality records.
- Support root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Coordinate with Production, Design, and VMC/CNC teams to resolve quality issues.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and customer specifications.
- Assist in calibration and maintenance of measuring instruments.
- Support internal quality audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of quality inspection in mold and die manufacturing.
- Good understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Hands-on experience with precision measuring instruments.
- Basic knowledge of quality documentation.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a team and learn under senior guidance.
Qualification
- Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in Mold & Die, Tool Room, or Precision Manufacturing.
Salary: As per industry standards.
