Senior Business Development Executive – Roles & Responsibilities
Industry: Heavy Fabrication / Engineering Manufacturing
Experience Required: Minimum 8+ Years in Business Development, Industrial Sales, or Key Account Management within the Heavy Fabrication, Steel Fabrication, Trailer Manufacturing, Structural Fabrication, Automotive Components, or Engineering Manufacturing Industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and expand business opportunities in Heavy Fabrication, Trailer Manufacturing, Structural Steel Fabrication, and Engineering Projects.
- Identify new customers, generate enquiries, and convert leads into profitable business.
- Manage key customer accounts and maintain long-term business relationships.
- Handle RFQs, techno-commercial discussions, costing coordination, quotation submissions, and contract negotiations.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging business opportunities.
- Coordinate with Design, Production, Quality, Planning, and Purchase teams for successful project execution.
- Achieve annual sales targets, revenue growth, and customer acquisition objectives.
- Lead customer meetings, technical discussions, plant visits, audits, and business presentations.
- Monitor project progress, delivery schedules, and customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare business forecasts, sales reports, MIS reports, and pipeline reviews for management.
- Explore export business opportunities and develop strategic partnerships where applicable.
- Represent the company at industrial exhibitions, trade fairs, and networking events.
Key Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of Heavy Fabrication, Welding, Structural Steel, Sheet Metal, and Manufacturing Processes.
- Expertise in B2B Industrial Sales and Business Development.
- Experience in handling OEMs, Industrial Customers, and Engineering Projects.
- Strong negotiation, costing, contract management, and commercial acumen.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Knowledge of ERP/CRM systems and MS Office.
Qualification
- BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory).
- MBA (Marketing) preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in Heavy Fabrication / Engineering Manufacturing Industry.
- Experience in handling large industrial customers, OEMs, and fabrication projects is essential.
- Exposure to export business development and international customer handling will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
