We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior QA Automation Engineer to lead automation testing initiatives across web, mobile, and API platforms.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in automation frameworks, CI/CD integration, test strategy, and agile delivery practices. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure high product quality, faster release cycles, and scalable testing practices.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing
- Create and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or similar tools
- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end testing
- Collaborate with development and product teams during sprint planning and release cycles
- Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
- Analyze test results, identify root causes, and track defects through resolution
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote automation best practices
- Participate in test planning, estimations, and risk assessment activities
- Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the software development lifecycle
- Contribute to performance and security testing initiatives when required
- 5-8 years of experience in Software Testing and QA Automation
- Strong hands-on experience with automation tools such as:
- Selenium WebDriver
- Playwright
- Appium (preferred)
- Proficiency in at least one programming language:
- Java
- Python
- JavaScript / TypeScript
- Experience in API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with Jira, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar test management tools
- Familiarity with Git version control systems
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner
- Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
- Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes environments
- ISTQB certification is an added advantage
