Position Overview
The Plumber will be responsible for overseeing plumbing operations, ensuring smooth functioning of water supply, drainage, and sanitary systems within the premises. This role requires hands-on expertise, proactive maintenance, and coordination with other technical teams to resolve issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily reporting: Report to the Site Executive and Property Manager on plumbing activities, repairs, recurring issues, and urgent maintenance requirements.
- Maintenance tasks: Perform routine, preventive, and breakdown maintenance of plumbing systems.
- Complaint resolution: Attend and resolve plumbing-related complaints from occupants promptly.
- System repairs: Maintain, repair, and replace water supply lines, drainage systems, valves, taps, fittings, flush systems, and sanitary fixtures.
- Issue rectification: Identify and fix leakages, blockages, seepage, low water pressure, and overflow problems.
- Tank and pump inspection: Inspect and maintain overhead tanks, underground tanks, pipelines, booster pumps, and sump systems.
- Water monitoring: Assist in monitoring water usage and support meter reading activities.
- Emergency support: Help during water supply interruptions, including arranging and connecting water tankers.
- Cleaning and flushing: Carry out scheduled cleaning and flushing of tanks and pipelines.
- Testing lines: Assist in testing plumbing lines after repairs or modifications.
- Team coordination: Work with electricians, masons, carpenters, housekeeping, and other staff for integrated maintenance.
- Safety compliance: Follow safety procedures and use PPE during work.
- Fire safety systems: Assist in checking and maintaining fire line plumbing, hydrant valves, and hose reel connections.
- Rainwater systems: Support maintenance of rainwater harvesting and storm water drainage systems.
- Sewage inspection: Assist in basic STP/sewage line inspection and blockage rectification.
- Event support: Provide plumbing support during society events, conferences, or special requirements.
- Emergency availability: Be available for urgent plumbing issues during working hours or as instructed.
- Additional duties: Carry out any plumbing-related work assigned by management or committee members.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
