Freelance recruiter needs to independently manage the full recruitment lifecycle, sourcing, screening, and placing candidates for multiple clients
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with clients to understand hiring needs, job specifications, and organizational culture
- Source candidates through job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and databases
- Screen and evaluate candidates via interviews, assessments, and background checks to ensure suitability
- Manage the recruitment lifecycle, including candidate outreach, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and onboarding support
- Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions in applicant tracking systems or databases
- Provide clients with updates on recruitment progress, candidate pipelines, and market insights
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with both clients and candidates to encourage repeat business
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in recruiting, human resources, or a related field
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple vacancies simultaneously
- Familiarity with recruitment tools, online platforms, and applicant tracking systems
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple clients and deadlines
- Optional: HR academic background or professional certifications in recruitment can be advantageous
