Job Description:

Job Purpose:

Plan and establish robust preventive maintenance activities to ensure the availability of assets to meet the operational target, as budgeted
Implementation of condition-based, preventive, and Predictive maintenance to reduce breakdowns and improve the MTTR and MTBF.
Spares Management
Manpower management
Support to the Operation Team in achieving the asset life

Job Context & Major Challenges:

Asset Management of the 2400 KLD ETP/ZLD/MEE to achieve the desired asset life within the available OPEX budget.
Spares management to ensure zero downtime of the assets due to the need for spares.
People management: Deployment of hands within budget to ensure effective PM activities.

Principal Accountabilities

To ensure availability of the assets as budgeted.
To keep maintenance cost within the available budget
To deploy hands within budget

Planning and execute the PM activities in accordance with the OPS team to ensure desired output from the assets.

Preventive /Periodic / Corrective Maintenance
Spares Management
People Management

Ensuring the Equipment availability & Performance >95 %.

Ensuring the on time preventive, Predictive & corrective maintenance with proper record keeping.

Maintaining the spare inventory and History card.

Equipment Monitoring & Tracking.

Prompt corrective action on CLIT, PM, PDM, TBM & CBM.

Budget Preparation, maintaining Spare Inventory and performance KPI.

Training, engaging, and retaining people to optimize their talent and maximize their productivity.

O&M of Biochemical based Large Capacity ETP Plant.
Data Analytics and Improvements

Knowledge of Process Control, Maintenance & Troubleshooting of Primary, Secondary & tertiary treatment Technologies like Active sludge process, HRSCC, UF, RO, MEE, AFFD etc.

Preferred Education

BE / Diploma - Mechanical

Preference to having an additional diploma/ Experience in the field of Environment / safety/ Water treatment

Domain & Leadership Skills: O&M of Waste water treatment plant of >3000 KLD capacity and Leading the team of >12 members.

Service knowledge / Product knowledge:

Minimum 5-6 years’ experience in the Maintenance of ETP, RO, MEE/ZLD plant.
Exposure in safety & People management.
Minimum 2+ Years’ experience of Assisting/Leading Any O&M site/ working as Maintenance In charge.
Experienced in maintenance and Troubleshooting of Electromechanical Equipment’s like all type of Pumps, Blowers, Compressor, dryer, Centrifuge, agitator, Gear box, High pressure Pumps, Vacuum pump, ATFD and other Equipment’s used in WWTP/ETP.
Exposure and sound experience in Maintenance work at a Biochemical-based large capacity ETP plant of more than 2000 KLD
Exposure to Pre-treatment, Biological treatment, Filtration technology, like- DMF, Ultra Filter, Reverse Osmosis plant & MEE etc.
Having the Knowledge of ETP operation & trouble shooting
