Job Description – QA Engineer
Experience: 5+ Years
Job Summary
We are looking for a QA Engineer with 5+ years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in manual testing, API testing, database validation, defect management, and Agile methodology. Knowledge or experience in automation testing will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, exploratory, and end-to-end testing, load testing.
- Perform API testing using Postman.
- Validate backend data using SQL queries.
- Identify, document, and track defects using Jira.
- Perform retesting and regression testing after defect fixes.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, product managers, product owners, and clients.
- Support release validation and ensure overall product quality.
- Communicate testing status, issues, and risks effectively with client's/Stakeholder's.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of STLC, SDLC, and Defect Life Cycle.
- Hands-on experience in Manual Testing.
- Experience with API Testing, Load Testing.
- Good knowledge of SQL and Database Testing.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Experience with Jira and GitHub.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Good to Have
- Automation testing experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Exposure to Selenium with Java or Playwright.
- Basic knowledge of TestNG and Cucumber.
- Understanding of automation testing concepts.
Pay: ₹304,742.20 - ₹1,039,786.64 per year
