Position Summary
Niyatee Foundation is seeking a qualified and experienced Accounts Manager to oversee the organization's financial operations, accounting systems, statutory compliance, budgeting, and financial reporting. The position requires a detail-oriented professional who can ensure transparency, accountability, and effective financial management of organizational resources and projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, bookkeeping, and financial transactions.
- Maintain accurate records of receipts, payments, vouchers, invoices, and bank transactions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Develop and monitor organizational budgets and expenditure plans.
- Ensure timely processing of salaries, reimbursements, vendor payments, and statutory dues.
- Manage GST, TDS, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and other statutory compliances as applicable.
- Coordinate with auditors for internal audits, statutory audits, and financial reviews.
- Prepare donor-wise and project-wise financial utilization reports.
- Monitor cash flow, fund allocation, and financial planning activities.
- Maintain proper financial documentation and records for organizational and donor compliance.
- Generate MIS reports and provide financial insights to management for decision-making.
- Coordinate with various departments regarding financial approvals, budgeting, and expense tracking.
- Ensure compliance with NGO accounting standards, government regulations, and donor requirements.
- Support management in financial forecasting, risk assessment, and strategic planning.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- Professional qualifications such as CA Inter, CMA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent will be preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or financial management.
- Experience working with NGOs, development organizations, CSR projects, or non-profit institutions will be an added advantage.
