1. Purpose of the Role
The Head – Construction (Civil) will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and overall direction for all civil construction activities. The role involves planning, executing, monitoring, and controlling construction projects to ensure timely completion within the approved budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
2. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end civil construction activities from project planning and initiation through execution and final completion.
- Develop and monitor project execution plans, construction schedules, and resource requirements.
- Plan and optimise manpower, materials, machinery, and equipment required for smooth project execution.
- Ensure projects are completed within the approved timelines, budget, quality standards, and technical specifications.
- Lead, guide, and supervise project managers, engineers, supervisors, contractors, and site teams.
- Coordinate effectively with management, consultants, contractors, vendors, and other internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor daily and overall project progress and take corrective actions to avoid delays.
- Ensure strict compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies.
- Review construction drawings, technical specifications, BOQs, and project requirements before and during execution.
- Monitor project costs and ensure effective utilization of resources to control construction expenses.
- Oversee contractor performance, work progress, measurements, billing, and certification of completed work.
- Ensure proper maintenance of project documentation, measurement records, contractor bills, progress reports, and completion documents.
- Identify potential project risks, delays, and operational challenges and implement appropriate solutions.
- Conduct regular site visits and review meetings to ensure smooth and efficient project execution.
- Provide regular project updates and progress reports to Management.

The ideal candidate should be an experienced Civil Construction professional with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects. The candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, leadership capabilities, and the ability to independently drive projects from planning through successful completion.
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
