Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Manager cum Internal Auditor to oversee financial operations, ensure compliance, and strengthen internal controls. The role involves managing end-to-end accounting, inventory-based accounting, audits, and financial reporting in a fast-paced gifting business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Finance
- Manage end-to-end accounting operations including AP, AR, and general ledger
- Oversee inventory accounting, stock valuation, and reconciliation with warehouse
- Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, P&L, and cash flow statements
- Monitor vendor payments, receivables, and working capital
- Ensure accurate billing, invoicing, and expense tracking
Internal Audit & Compliance
- Conduct regular internal audits across departments
- Identify gaps, risks, and control weaknesses in processes
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory regulations
- Develop and implement internal control systems and SOPs
- Review financial transactions for accuracy and policy adherence
Operational & Cost Control
- Analyze product costing, margins, and profitability
- Monitor procurement and inventory movement
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
Team Management
- Lead and supervise the accounts team
- Review team outputs and ensure accuracy
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (sales, operations, procurement)
Audit & Reporting
- Coordinate with external auditors for statutory audits
- Prepare audit reports and present findings to management
- Ensure timely closure of audit observations
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Finance / Accounting
- CA / CA Inter / CMA / MBA (Finance) preferred
- 5-7 years of experience in accounting and internal audit
- Experience in retail, trading, or product-based companies preferred
Key Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and audit practices
- Expertise in GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
- Inventory accounting & cost analysis
- Risk assessment and internal control systems
- Advanced Excel and accounting software (Tally, Zoho, SAP, etc.)
- Analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Leadership and team management
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in corporate gifting / e-commerce / trading business
- Handling high-volume transactions and vendor management
- Exposure to multi-location operations
