The Diabesties Foundation (TDF) is a non-profit organization pioneering Type 1 Diabetes care and advocacy since 2018. Through innovative programs, strategic partnerships, and community-driven initiatives, we work to improve access to insulin, education, and support— working with diverse stakeholders to drive sustainable and inclusive healthcare impact.
As we continue to expand our impact, we are looking for a highly skilled Graphic Designer to join the Founder’s Office and help translate ideas, data, and stories into compelling visual communication.
Role Overview
The Graphic Designer – Founder’s Office will be responsible for designing high-quality visual assets that support organizational growth, fundraising, partnerships, donor engagement, and strategic communications.
This is a senior role requiring a strong understanding of nonprofit storytelling, report design, pitch deck creation, and visual communication for social impact organizations. The selected candidate will work directly with the Founder & CEO and senior leadership team to develop presentations, donor reports, annual reports, educational resources, fundraising collateral, and other strategic communication materials.
The ideal candidate combines strong design skills with the ability to understand complex information and transform it into visually engaging and easy-to-understand outputs.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Communication & Leadership Support
- Design high-impact pitch decks, fundraising presentations, partnership proposals, and investor/donor-facing materials.
- Create visually compelling presentations for the Founder, Directors, and leadership team.
- Develop communication assets that support organizational strategy, advocacy, fundraising, and stakeholder engagement.
Reports & Publications
- Design annual reports, impact reports, donor reports, progress reports, case studies, and organizational publications.
- Transform programmatic data, research findings, and impact metrics into engaging visual narratives.
- Create infographics, charts, visual summaries, and data visualizations for internal and external audiences.
Digital & Educational Resources
- Design educational materials, toolkits, guides, brochures, handbooks, and community resources.
- Develop digital assets for campaigns, social media, email communication, websites, and events.
- Ensure all materials align with organizational branding and communication standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the Founder’s Office, Communications, Programs, Fundraising, and Partnerships teams.
- Manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
- Provide design support for organizational events, conferences, campaigns, and strategic initiatives as required.
Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in graphic design.
- Demonstrated experience working with NGOs, non-profits, foundations, development sector organizations, or social impact initiatives.
- Strong portfolio showcasing:
- Pitch decks and presentations
- Annual and donor reports
- Fundraising and partnership collateral
- Digital campaigns and educational resources
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat) and presentation design tools such as PowerPoint, Google Slides, Canva, or Figma.
- Strong understanding of typography, layout design, information design, and visual storytelling.
- Ability to transform complex information into clear, engaging visual communication.
- Excellent attention to detail and project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Graduates from reputed design institutions such as National Institute of Design (NID), Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology,IDC School of Design, or equivalent institutions will be preferred.
- Experience designing for healthcare, public health, education, or social impact organizations.
- Knowledge of accessibility and inclusive design principles.
- Experience with motion graphics and basic video editing will be an added advantage.
