Project Overview
We are seeking an experienced API Developer to develop, deploy, and maintain an automated trading solution. The developer will be responsible for converting our trading strategy into a fully functional trading script, integrating it with our broker's API platform, and ensuring reliable execution of trades.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and implement the provided trading strategy into an automated trading script.
- Integrate the trading application with the broker's API platform.
- Develop modules for:
- Market data retrieval
- Signal generation
- Order placement
- Order modification and cancellation
- Position monitoring
- Risk management controls
- Configure secure API authentication and session management.
- Deploy the application on a cloud server or VPS.
- Implement logging, monitoring, and error-handling mechanisms.
- Conduct testing in paper-trading/sandbox environments before live deployment.
- Optimize execution speed and system reliability.
- Provide technical documentation and source code.
- Offer post-deployment support during the stabilization period.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with API development and integration.
- Experience in algorithmic trading systems and financial market APIs.
- Proficiency in:
- Python (preferred)
- REST APIs
- WebSocket APIs
- JSON data handling
- Experience with broker APIs such as:
- Zerodha
- Angel One
- Upstox
- Fyers
- Or similar broker platforms
- Knowledge of:
- Order management systems
- Risk management
- Automated trading workflows
- Cloud deployment (AWS, Azure, DigitalOcean, VPS)
- Familiarity with Git/version control.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
