Position: ROYCE’ Retail Operations Excellence Manager
Responsibilities:
Retail Operations Excellence:
- Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize store operations, especially in a high-growth environment.
- Ensure stores are well maintained, visually appealing, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
- Maintaining and managing company resources including- furniture, fittings, hardware, POS and relevant vendor relationships
- Liaise and support MBO/SIS store operations of the brand.
Inventory Management
- Ensuring that all retail EBOs, MBOs and dark stores are well stocked to enable sales across all channels – retail, quick commerce and e commerce.
- Planning stock movements - timely replenishments and inter-store transfers to maintain stock level.
- Plan warehouse visits and stock management at the warehouse
- FIFO and expiry management at a store, region and across formats (stores, SIS, MBO stores), ensuring zero wastage due to expiry.
Training and Development:
- Identify training requirement across all store formats and plan training schedule, ensure timely training sessions are conducted to enhance team skills and knowledge.
- Roll out new initiatives, programs across all stores and ensure all team members are inducted with complete understanding.
- Track and identify manpower gaps, working collaboratively with all city operations manager and HR team to ensure team efficiencies.
Customer Experience:
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the customer experience in stores.
- Address and resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and effectively across all sales channels including quick commerce and e-commerce.
- Gather customer feedback to inform continuous improvement initiatives.
E-Commerce Operations & Delivery Logistics Management :
- Oversee daily eCommerce order processing and ensure timely fulfilment.
- Coordinate with store teams to ensure accurate packing and dispatch of orders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with third-party logistics and courier partners.
- Evaluate and onboard new delivery and logistics partners as needed.
- Maintain relationship with logistics partners, act as the SPOC for the brand to coordinate between the stores and the respective delivery POCs for smooth operations.
- Work cohesively with the business team to ensure the logistics partners are aligned for delivery surge and budgets set aside.
Quick Commerce and Corporate Sales Strategy:
- Drive sales on the existing quick commerce platforms, liaise with marketing team to effectively prepare ad plans and budgets
- Develop and implement strategies to attract and secure bulk orders from corporate and other prospective clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key corporate accounts.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling corporate sales proposals and presentations.
Reporting, Auditing, Budgeting and Analysis:
- Track monthly audits across all stores, conduct the audit whenever needed
- Work collaboratively with the MIS team, accounts team and operations team to close all inventory and sales reconciliations every month.
- Track and check all store expenses including petty cash expenditures.
- Prepare weekly and monthly operations dashboard and analyze all KPIs, suggest actions for improvement and optimization.
- Prepare and manage the retail operations budget and contingency plans, ensuring cost- effective practices.
- Monitor and control operational expenses to maximize profitability.
- Tracking and measuring operational and financial information against the decided budgets
- Sales forecasting for the retail stores and preparing targets for stores
- Preparing and budgeting for store incentives on a timely basis.
- Reconciliation of all discrepancies from the monthly audits – internal and external.
Candidate Qualifications & Skill Requirements:
- At least 6 years of experience in retail operations.
- Strong written and verbal communication in English
- Ability to multitask and work independently on projects
- Good relationship-building capability
- QSR, Hospitality background preferred
- Demonstrates problem-solving ability
Job Location: Mumbai (would require extensive travel)

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
