The Android Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality, scalable, and secure Android applications. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions while adhering to coding standards, performance benchmarks, and information security requirements.
Develop and maintain Android mobile applications Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code Collaborate with Product, UI/UX, QA, and Backend teams Integrate APIs and third-party libraries Perform unit testing and support QA activities Optimize application performance and usability Fix bugs and improve application stability Follow coding standards, security, and compliance guidelines Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives Maintain technical documentation
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology (Computer Science, IT, or related discipline) Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Kotlin, Java Experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations Understanding of mobile UI/UX principles Awareness of Secure SDLC and mobile security practices 2 – 6 years of experience in Android application development Hands-on experience in end-to-end mobile application lifecycle Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
