Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to oversee the maintenance and smooth functioning of hospital infrastructure, utilities, and engineering systems. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring uninterrupted operation of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and general maintenance services to support quality patient care and hospital operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain hospital infrastructure, utilities, and engineering systems.
- Ensure the proper functioning of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, DG sets, STP, WTP, medical gas pipeline systems, and other facility equipment.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance activities as per maintenance schedules.
- Attend and resolve maintenance complaints from hospital departments promptly.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and service providers for maintenance and repair work.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, service reports, breakdown logs, and equipment history.
- Monitor utility consumption and recommend energy-saving initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with hospital safety standards, statutory requirements, and NABH guidelines.
- Assist in planning and execution of renovation, expansion, and infrastructure improvement projects.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential maintenance issues and take corrective actions.
- Maintain inventory of maintenance tools, equipment, and spare parts.
- Support emergency maintenance requirements and ensure minimal disruption to hospital operations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in facility maintenance, engineering services, or hospital maintenance.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, DG sets, fire safety systems, and utility management.
- Ability to read technical drawings and maintenance manuals.
- Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance documentation.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in hospital or healthcare facility maintenance.
- Knowledge of NABH standards and healthcare facility requirements.
- Familiarity with Medical Gas Pipeline Systems (MGPS).
- Experience in vendor and contractor management.
- Understanding of preventive maintenance planning and asset management.
Pay: ₹12,077.42 - ₹30,000.00 per month
