- Assist senior chefs in preparing South Indian dishes such as dosa, idli, vada, sambhar, chutneys, appam, and curries.
- Help in basic food preparation including cutting vegetables, cleaning ingredients, and preparing batter.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment.
- Follow instructions from senior kitchen staff and support smooth kitchen operations.
- Learn standard recipes, food presentation, and cooking methods.
- Assist in storing food items properly and maintaining stock hygiene.
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Support the kitchen team during busy operational hours.
- Maintain punctuality, discipline, and teamwork within the department.
