Job Description
Key Accountabilities & Performance Measures : Assist in electrical installation and project activities as per instructions.Timely completion of assigned workCarry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment.Equipment uptime and reduced breakdownsMonitor electrical systems, lighting, and power supply in the facility.Daily inspection recordsMaintain maintenance logs, checklists, and equipment history records.Accurate and updated recordsSupport testing and maintenance of transformers, panels, DG sets, and electrical installations.Compliance with maintenance scheduleMonitor DG operation, fuel consumption, and maintain logbooks.Daily logbook updatesCheck electrical safety items such as earthing, RCCB, cables, and connections.Safety compliance and inspection reportsMaintain stock of electrical spares and consumables.Availability of critical sparesAssist during statutory inspections and maintain required documents.Inspection readinessMonitor electricity consumption and report abnormalities.Monthly energy reportsSupport fire alarm system checks and maintenance activities.System working conditionFollow safety procedures and company regulations.Zero safety violationsPerform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.Quality and timely completion of tasks
Knowledge & Skills
- ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Basic knowledge of electrical maintenance and safety
- Familiarity with HT/LT systems and DG operation
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office)
Experience
- 1–3 years in electrical maintenance or projects
