Job Purpose
The Service Advisor is responsible for managing customer service interactions related to vehicle servicing and repairs. The role involves understanding customer requirements, preparing job cards, coordinating with technicians, providing accurate cost and time estimates, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Handling
- Greet customers and understand vehicle service or repair requirements.
- Listen to customer complaints and clearly record them in the job card.
- Explain service procedures, repair details, timelines, and costs to customers.
- Obtain customer approval before carrying out additional work.
Job Card & Documentation
- Prepare accurate job cards with detailed customer complaints.
- Ensure proper documentation for warranty, insurance, and AMC jobs.
- Maintain service records and customer history in DMS/manual registers.
Workshop Coordination
- Coordinate with technicians and floor in-charge for job allocation.
- Monitor job progress and ensure timely completion of service.
- Inform customers about delays or additional repairs if required.
Vehicle Delivery
- Inspect completed vehicles to ensure quality of service.
- Explain work done, charges, and future service recommendations at delivery.
- Ensure vehicle cleanliness and proper handover to customers.
Billing & Payment
- Coordinate with billing/accounts team for invoice preparation.
- Explain billing details clearly to customers.
- Ensure timely collection of payments.
Customer Satisfaction
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues effectively.
- Conduct follow-up calls after service to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain high CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) scores.
Sales & Targets
- Promote value-added services, accessories, and service packages.
- Achieve service revenue, labor, and spare parts targets.
- Upsell services such as AMC, extended warranty, and insurance renewals.
Compliance & Safety
- Follow company policies, SOPs, and safety standards.
- Ensure adherence to manufacturer guidelines.
- Maintain discipline, punctuality, and professional behavior.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication and customer-handling skills
- Basic technical knowledge of vehicles

- Computer knowledge (DMS, MS Excel, billing systems)
- Time management and multitasking abilities
Qualification & Experience
- Diploma / ITI / Any Graduate (preferred)
- 1–3 years of experience in automobile service (Two-wheeler / Four-wheeler)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
