Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Panchakarma Therapist / Ayurvedic Spa Therapist with hands-on expertise in classical Ayurvedic therapies. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing therapeutic and relaxation sessions tailored to individual client needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Ayurvedic therapies such as Shirodhara, Abhyanga, Shiroabhyanga, Padabhyanga and Head & Shoulder Massage
- Assist in Panchakarma procedures as applicable
- Follow prescribed therapy protocols and maintain high hygiene standards
- Prepare therapy rooms, oils and required equipment before sessions
- Ensure client comfort, safety and relaxation during treatments
- Coordinate with the wellness team for integrated therapy sessions
- Guide clients regarding post-therapy care and relaxation practices
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma / Certificate in Ayurveda, Panchakarma Therapy, or Ayurvedic Spa Therapy
- Training from a recognized Ayurvedic institute
- Hands-on experience in Shirodhara and oil-based Ayurvedic therapies
- Basic understanding of mind-body wellness and relaxation therapies
- Good communication skills and professional conduct
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary wellness environment
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in an Ayurvedic spa, wellness center, Panchakarma clinic, hospital or retreat
- Freshers with strong practical training in Panchakarma therapies may also apply
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Shirodhara therapy
- Knowledge of Ayurvedic oils and therapy preparation
- Client handling and wellness consultation support
- Interest in holistic wellness and relaxation-based therapies
