About the Role
We're seeking a Prompt Engineer to design, optimize, and scale AI-powered content workflows. You'll bridge the gap between content strategy and AI capabilities, crafting prompts that generate high-quality educational materials, marketing copy, technical documentation, and creative content at scale.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrompt Design & Optimization
- Design and refine prompts for various content types (educational materials, marketing copy, technical docs, creative writing)
- Develop prompt templates and frameworks that ensure consistency and quality across content production
- A/B test prompt variations to optimize for clarity, accuracy, tone, and engagement
- Build prompt libraries and style guides for different content categories and audiences
Content Development
- Collaborate with content teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective AI prompts
- Generate content for multiple channels: blogs, social media, email campaigns, product descriptions, learning modules
- Ensure AI-generated content aligns with brand voice, style guidelines, and educational standards
- Implement quality control processes for AI-generated content
Technical Implementation
- Work with APIs (Claude, GPT, etc.) to integrate prompt engineering into content workflows
- Build and maintain prompt chains for complex, multi-step content generation tasks
- Design and develop AI agents for autonomous content workflows, including tool use, context management, and multi-step reasoning
- Develop evaluation frameworks to measure content quality, accuracy, and effectiveness
- Create documentation for prompt patterns, best practices, and troubleshooting guides
Strategy & Innovation
- Stay current with advances in LLMs and prompt engineering techniques
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI for new content types or improved workflows
- Train team members on prompt engineering best practices
- Analyze content performance metrics and iterate on prompt strategies
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in content creation, technical writing, or instructional design
- 1+ year hands-on experience with prompt engineering for LLMs (Claude, GPT-4, etc.)
- Experience building and deploying AI agents for content generation, research, or automation workflows
- Strong understanding of content strategy, SEO, and audience engagement
- Excellent written communication skills with attention to detail
- Ability to analyze and optimize content for specific outcomes
- Experience with API integration and basic scripting (Python, JavaScript preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating prompt engineering work and content samples
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in education, curriculum development, or educational technology
- Experience with content management systems and marketing automation tools
- Familiarity with evaluation frameworks for AI outputs (RLHF, constitutional AI)
- Knowledge of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and context management
- Experience in regulated industries (education, healthcare, legal) with content compliance requirements
- Understanding of computational thinking or STEM education pedagogy
- Experience with agentic frameworks (Lang Chain, Llama Index, Auto Gen) or custom agent architectures
