- Clean assigned guest rooms according to hotel SOPs.
- Make beds with fresh linen and proper presentation.
- Dust and clean all furniture, fixtures, mirrors, and surfaces.
- Vacuum carpets and mop hard floors.
- Clean balconies, if applicable.
- Ensure rooms are odor-free and well ventilated.
- Clean and sanitize toilets, wash basins, showers, bathtubs, and bathroom floors.
- Polish all chrome fittings and mirrors.
- Replace used towels, bath mats, and amenities.
- Replenish tissue paper, toiletries, and bathroom supplies.
- Ensure bathrooms meet luxury hotel presentation standards.
- Respond promptly to guest requests.
- Deliver extra towels, pillows, amenities, or other requested items.
- Maintain guest privacy and confidentiality at all times.
- Keep guest room doors secure while cleaning.
- Follow fire and emergency procedures.
- Report suspicious activities immediately.
- Handle cleaning chemicals safely using PPE where required.
- Maintain housekeeping trolley in an organized manner.
- Ensure sufficient stock of linen, amenities, and cleaning supplies.
- Clean and maintain housekeeping equipment after use.9. Laundry Coordination
- Collect guest laundry as per procedure.
- Coordinate with the laundry department for timely delivery.
- Report damaged or stained linen.
- Update room status (Vacant Clean, Occupied Clean, Out of Order, etc.) to the housekeeping supervisor or through the PMS.
- Report maintenance defects immediately.
- Inform the supervisor of unusual guest requests or incidents.
- Attend departmental briefing.
- Collect master key and room assignment sheet.
- Prepare housekeeping trolley.
- Clean assigned rooms within standard time.
- Replenish linen and amenities.
- Update room status.
- Return keys and submit reports at the end of the shift.
