We're hiring someone who already has the network not someone who will build one.
If you have active, working relationships with school principals, trustees, directors, and management teams across East India, and a track record of converting those relationships into institutional partnerships, we want to talk.
Key Responsibilities
Activate your existing school network
Use your direct relationships with principals, trustees, chairpersons, and management to generate qualified leads and set up meetings, without a long prospecting phase. You should be able to walk into schools you already know on Day 1.
Drive the full sales cycle
Present and pitch Success Guru's programs to school decision-makers. Negotiate terms, close partnership agreements, and manage post-sales relationships to ensure smooth program implementation and renewal.
Own and expand your territory
Independently manage an assigned geography across East India. Plan and execute regular school visits, map untapped institutions, and develop territory-wise strategies to maximise reach and conversion.
Meet targets and report on market intelligence
Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets. Track competitor activity, monitor trends in the school ecosystem, and share field insights with leadership to refine our product and go-to-market approach.
Coordinate for seamless delivery
Work closely with our internal academic and operations teams to ensure program rollout goes smoothly post-closure. Long-term school satisfaction is as important as the initial sale.
What You Must Bring
Non-negotiable: an active school network in East India. You should have existing, working relationships with school principals, trustees, directors, and management in Assam, West Bengal, Odisha, or nearby states. In your application, we expect you to name schools or networks you have worked with, not describe how you plan to build them.
- 5–10 years of B2B sales experience in the education sector, selling curriculum, EdTech products, training programs, or institutional solutions to schools
- Prior experience in educational publishing or has strong relationships with Book Publishers, EdTech systems, school training, or institutional program delivery, and understands how schools buy and how long decisions take
- Strong command of the school decision-making process, who influences, who approves, and how to navigate hierarchies from principal to trustee to chairperson
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, comfortable presenting to senior school management without hand-holding
- Ability to work independently, manage your own calendar, and be on the road regularly across your territory
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or related field; MBA preferred
