Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and proactive Logistics Executive to manage day-to-day transportation and logistics operations. The candidate will be responsible for vehicle management, driver coordination, operational supervision, billing support, loading/unloading coordination, and maintaining transportation records.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Supervise daily transportation and logistics operations.
- Coordinate with drivers for timely vehicle reporting and trip management.
- Maintain regular communication with drivers regarding routes, delivery status, and operational updates.
- Handle transportation bills and related operational documentation.
- Ensure timely loading and unloading of vehicles.
- Track vehicle movement and ensure timely deliveries.
- Monitor PODs, invoices, trip sheets, and dispatch documents.
- Follow up on delays, breakdowns, and operational issues.
- Ensure smooth coordination between drivers, and operations team.
- Prepare and maintain daily operational reports in Excel/software.
- Support management in ensuring smooth operational flow and service quality.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of transportation and logistics operations.
- Strong driver and vehicle coordination skills.
- Good communication and follow-up ability.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, Email, Data Entry).
- Ability to handle multiple operational activities.
- Strong problem-solving and coordination skills.
Qualification
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or operations preferred.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Comfortable working in operational and field environment.
- Responsible, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to manage drivers and transportation activities efficiently.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote/work-from-home setup.
