Key Responsibilities
1. Network & Infrastructure Management
· Maintain school-wide LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi connectivity, and server operations to ensure uninterrupted classroom teaching.
· Manage firewalls, web filtering, and access controls to maintain CIPA (Children’s Internet Protection Act) compliance and student safety.
· Maintain backup and disaster recovery plans to safeguard sensitive school records.
2. Hardware & Software Administration
· Oversee the lifecycle (procurement, deployment, and retirement) of all devices, including smart boards, laptops, Firewall, Network routers & switches, CCTV and lab computers.
· Manage software licensing, learning management systems (LMS), and Student Information Systems (SIS).
· Coordinate regular updates and routine maintenance during school breaks
3. User Support & Training
· Act as the primary point of contact for IT help-desk tickets for faculty, administrative staff, and students.
· Provide on-boarding and training for staff on new educational technologies and school-issued devices.
4. Data Security & Compliance
· Ensure compliance with student privacy laws regarding the protection of personal data.
· Set up and monitor user accounts, email addresses, and access privileges.
· Create and verify Data Backup at pre-defined frequency.
Requirements
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
· Experience: 2-5 years of IT administration experience, ideally in an educational setting or similar academic environment.
· Technical Skills: Proficiency in managing Active Directory, Google Workspace for Education, Microsoft 365, and troubleshooting both Windows and macOS.
· Soft Skills: Exceptional patience, communication, and problem-solving skills when dealing with non-technical staff and students
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
