Role Split: Approximately 50% Immigration Operations + 50% AI & Technology
About the Role:
- We are looking for a tech-savvy, detail-oriented and quick-learning professional to join our Mohali office.
- This is a unique hybrid position combining Canadian immigration documentation and case operations with AI, technology and business-process automation.
- The successful candidate will spend approximately 50% of their time supporting immigration documentation and case processing and 50% working with AI tools, technology, automation and digital business systems.
- Candidates with Canadian immigration experience are welcome. However, previous immigration experience is not mandatory for candidates with a strong technology background and willingness to learn immigration documentation.
- Recent graduates with strong practical AI/technology skills are also encouraged to apply.
50% – Immigration Documentation & Operations
- Prepare and assist with Canadian Permanent Residence and Temporary Residence applications.
- Assist with Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) applications, including OINP and other provincial streams.
- Support the preparation and submission of Express Entry profiles and Permanent Residence applications.
- Prepare and manage Temporary Resident applications, including visitor visas, study permits, work permits, visitor records and extensions.
- Assist with LMIA applications and employer compliance documentation, including recruitment records and supporting documents.
- Review, organize and cross-check client documents to ensure accuracy, consistency and completeness before submission.
- Identify missing information and inconsistencies in client documentation.
- Maintain detailed and properly organized client files.
- Track application progress, important dates, deadlines and outstanding documents.
- Communicate professionally with clients to collect required documents, provide routine updates and explain application processes in clear language.
- Monitor updates to Canadian immigration programs, policies and procedures to support ongoing case management.
- Maintain internal case records and provide administrative support related to immigration files.
50% – AI, Technology & Business Systems
- Research, test and implement modern AI tools and technologies for day-to-day business operations.
- Use AI tools for document review, document comparison, information extraction, summarization and quality control.
- Help develop AI-assisted systems to identify missing, inconsistent or potentially incorrect information in documentation.
- Assist with automating repetitive administrative and business processes.
- Help develop workflows such as incoming inquiry → information collection → document request → internal routing → staff follow-up.
- Support AI-assisted WhatsApp, email and customer-inquiry workflows.
- Develop and maintain effective AI prompts, templates and internal knowledge resources.
- Assist with document-generation and document-processing automation.
- Use basic JavaScript and related technologies where required for integrations, automation and internal tools.
- Research new AI software and recommend practical tools that can improve business efficiency.
- Help integrate AI tools with existing business systems.
- Test AI-generated outputs for accuracy and reliability before operational use.
- Create clear documentation for new technology and workflows so non-technical staff can easily use them.
- Help train and support team members in using approved AI tools and automated workflows.
Qualifications & Eligibility:
We welcome applicants from technology, AI, IT, software, automation and immigration/documentation backgrounds.
Candidates should have:
- Minimum 6 months of relevant practical experience, internship, training or hands-on exposure in AI, IT, software development, automation, documentation technology or a related field; OR
- Be a recent graduate with strong practical knowledge of AI and technology demonstrated through projects, internships, training or hands-on experience.
- Good practical knowledge of modern AI tools and platforms.
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript or similar programming/scripting technologies.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new AI tools and software.
- Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent documentation, proofreading and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies in information and documents.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to research unfamiliar technology and independently find practical solutions.
- Comfortable working with PDFs, spreadsheets, cloud systems, online portals and digital documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines.
Immigration Experience:
- Canadian immigration experience is an asset but is not mandatory for a strong technology candidate.
- Candidates without immigration experience must have a genuine interest and willingness to learn Canadian immigration documentation, application processes and case-management procedures.
- Candidates who already have experience with Express Entry, OINP/PNP, Temporary Residence applications, LMIA documentation or Canadian immigration case processing will be given additional consideration.
