Role Summary
Hillwoods School is looking for a Junior Automobile Engineer to support the maintenance, safety, and efficient operation of the school bus fleet. The candidate will assist in preventive maintenance, vehicle inspections, documentation, vendor coordination, and ensure compliance with transport safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor preventive maintenance of school buses.
- Coordinate servicing, repairs, and breakdown support.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and ensure roadworthiness.
- Monitor fuel efficiency and vehicle performance.
- Maintain maintenance records and prepare monthly reports.
- Coordinate with workshops and service providers.
- Manage spare parts inventory.
- Collect driver feedback and promote safe vehicle practices.
- Ensure compliance with RTO and transport safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.
- Freshers may apply; 1–5 years of relevant experience is preferred.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of diesel, petrol, and CNG vehicles.
- Basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance knowledge.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and computer applications.
- Good communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with buses, commercial vehicles, or fleet maintenance.
- Knowledge of fleet management software and transport safety norms.

Pay: From ₹35,000.00 per month
