Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Multi-Cuisine Head Chef to lead kitchen operations and manage culinary excellence across multiple cuisines. The candidate will be responsible for menu planning, food quality, kitchen team management, hygiene standards, cost control, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise overall kitchen operations.
- Prepare and oversee dishes across multiple cuisines such as Indian, Chinese, Continental, Italian, Asian, and other specialty cuisines.
- Design and update menus based on customer preferences and market trends.
- Ensure consistent food quality, taste, presentation, and portion control.
- Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance monitoring.
- Maintain food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards as per company and regulatory guidelines.
- Monitor inventory, food costing, wastage control, and vendor coordination.
- Ensure proper storage and stock rotation of ingredients.
- Coordinate with service and operations teams for smooth kitchen functioning.
- Introduce innovative recipes and seasonal specials to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Handle kitchen budgeting and maintain profitability targets.
- Ensure kitchen equipment maintenance and operational efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Head Chef / Executive Chef / Multi-Cuisine Chef.
- Strong knowledge of Indian, Continental, Chinese, Italian, Asian, and other cuisines.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Good understanding of food costing, inventory control, and kitchen budgeting.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage high-volume kitchen operations.
- Creative approach toward menu development and presentation.
Experience
- 8–15 years of relevant culinary experience.
- Prior experience in restaurants, hotels, cafés, or hospitality brands preferred.
Salary
- As per industry standards / based on experience and discussion.
Pay: ₹90,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
