Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Courier Operations Manager to manage and supervise day-to-day courier operations, ensure timely movement and delivery of shipments, and maintain smooth coordination between staff, customers, hubs, and other operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise daily courier operations at the assigned location.
- Monitor pickup, sorting, dispatch, delivery, and shipment handling activities.
- Ensure timely and accurate movement of shipments.
- Lead, guide, and monitor the operations team and delivery staff.
- Allocate duties and shifts according to operational requirements.
- Monitor shipment status and take immediate action on delays, misroutes, and operational issues.
- Coordinate with customers and internal teams to resolve service-related concerns.
- Maintain proper records, reports, and operational documentation.
- Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, productivity, and discipline.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and operational procedures.
- Identify operational issues and implement effective solutions.
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly operational reports to management.
- Ensure proper handling and safety of courier shipments.
- Perform other operational responsibilities assigned by management.
Candidate Requirements
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in courier, logistics, transportation, or delivery operations.
- Experience in managing a team and handling day-to-day operations.
- Good knowledge of courier/logistics processes and shipment handling.
- Fluency in Malayalam is mandatory/preferred.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to handle operational software/HRMS systems.
- Willingness to work according to operational requirements and shift schedules.
